The period for calculating the guarantee period begins on the date of purchase by the first customer (invoice date). The guarantee is transferred if the guarantee holder sells the product to another end user.

Repair of the product or replacement services do not extend the warranty period. Consumables and wearing materials are excluded from the warranty.

The prerequisite for a warranty claim is a defect or malfunction which no longer enables the intended use of the product or which disproportionately restricts it.

Claims under this guarantee must be made by notifying Dr. Sellmair NanoElektroTechnik GmbH in writing no later than 14 days after the fault occurred.

In order to process a warranty claim, a written description of the fault and proof of purchase (invoice with purchase date) are essential. The product must be sent to the guarantor for inspection. It is important to ensure that the product or its components are securely packaged to avoid transport damage.

The return of the tested or repaired product within Germany is at the guarantor's expense. For returns outside Germany, the transport costs must be borne by the guarantor.

warranty service
A guarantee is limited to a maximum of the value of the original purchase price paid. The manufacturer's liability under this guarantee is limited to the replacement, repair or reimbursement of the product. The choice of whether to replace, repair or reimburse the costs is at the discretion of the guarantor. If a faulty product is no longer in the range, the guarantor reserves the right to exchange it for a technically equivalent product from the current range.

A product or its parts replaced under a guarantee become the property of the guarantor upon provision of the guarantee service.

Further claims, in particular for compensation for direct or indirect damage caused by the defect in the device, for costs incurred through removal and installation or for lost profits, are excluded unless liability is mandatory by law.

warranty exclusions
The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover damage, defects and malfunctions caused by:
- Failure to follow the operating instructions
- force majeure (e.g. lightning, power surges, storms, floods, fire)
- normal wear and tear
- mechanical impact such as falling or deformation
- improper use
- incorrect installation, configuration, commissioning or operation
- Malfunction of other connected devices
- Failure to observe safety precautions
- unauthorized changes, programming or repairs

This guarantee is subject to German law.The place of performance for the obligations arising from this guarantee is Munich, Germany. To the extent permissible, the place of jurisdiction is Munich, Germany.
