Bluetooth Smart Ready:
The Blue Smart IP67 charger is the wireless solution for monitoring voltage and current, adjusting settings and updating the charger when new features become available. The range of functions of the IP67 charger is expanded with Bluetooth and roughly corresponds to that of our IP22 and IP65 chargers.
Fully encased:
waterproof, shockproof and fire retardant. Water, oil or dirt cannot damage the Blue Smart IP67 charger. The housing is made of cast aluminum and the electronics are covered with resin.
Highest charging efficiency ever!
Setting a new industry standard: With an efficiency of at least 92% or more, these chargers produce three to four times less heat. Additionally, after the battery is fully charged, power consumption drops to less than one watt, which is about five to ten times better than the industry standard.
Adaptive 5-stage charging algorithm: "Bulk" (constant current phase) - "Absorption" (constant voltage phase) - "Recondition" (regeneration phase), -"Float" (float voltage phase) - "Storage" (storage mode)
The Blue Smart charger is characterized by its microprocessor-controlled, “adaptive” battery management. “Adaptive” means that the charging process is automatically adapted to the type of battery use.
Storage mode: Less maintenance and aging when the battery is idle.
Storage mode is activated whenever there has been no unloading within 24 hours. In storage mode, the trickle charge voltage is then reduced to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V for a 24 V battery) to minimize gas generation and corrosion on the positive plates. Once a week the voltage is increased to the level of the gassing voltage. This creates a type of equalization charge that prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation - the two main reasons for premature battery failure
Also charges lithium-ion batteries.
Lithium-ion batteries are charged using a simple - constant current phase - constant voltage phase - trickle voltage phase algorithm.
Recovery function for fully discharged batteries.
Will initiate charging even if the battery has been discharged to zero volts. Reconnects to a fully discharged lithium-ion battery with built-in disconnect function
Overheat protection.
Can be used in a hot environment such as a machine room. The output current will be reduced when the temperature increases up to 60°C, but the charger will not fail.
Two LEDs for status display.
